Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of software from Night Current Studios ("we," "us"), including Flick, and this website. By buying, installing or using our software, you agree to them.
Your license
When you buy one of our apps, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on Macs that you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, rent or share the app or your download link, and you may not reverse engineer it except where the law allows it. We keep all rights we don't expressly give you.
What Flick does to your files
Flick moves the files you choose to the macOS Trash. It does not permanently delete anything. Files stay recoverable until you, or macOS, empty the Trash. You're responsible for choosing which files to toss and for keeping backups of files that matter to you.
Purchases, updates and refunds
Purchases are processed by Gumroad and are also subject to Gumroad's terms. Your purchase includes free updates for the same major version (for Flick, every 1.x release). If Flick doesn't work for you, email hello@nightcurrentstudios.com within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you.
No warranty
Our software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the software will be error-free or work with every Mac or macOS version.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Night Current Studios won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of our software or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the software involved.
This website
You may browse and share links to this site. Its content, names, logos and app artwork belong to Night Current Studios and may not be reused to suggest our endorsement. Product names of other companies mentioned on this site belong to their owners.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the current one. Changes don't take away refunds or updates you were already entitled to.
